If you ever have seen the movie "What the Bleep do we know." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/What_the_Bleep_Do_We_Know!?, then you will probably remember the scene on the basketball court, where they explain that matter is made mostly of space. Pretty much like our planetary system. Such a small piece of matter orbiting or vibrating creating what we percieve as a solid piece of matter. Ok, so how about sound? We cant see sound, but we know its there. "Sound is what can be perceived by a living organism through its sense of hearing.[1] Physically, sound is vibrational mechanical energy that propagates through matter as a wave."-http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sound. Key word ENERGY. matter and energy go hand in hand don't they? Imagine this scenario. Your in your room with your stereo on. You can't just hear it one place in the room. You can hear if your ears were on the ceiling, under your bed. maybe even outside of your room. So is it safe to say that this energy exists in entirety through out the whole room? Unlike us or any other matter that is only condensed in its form. Ok, so what? The matter that makes up our bodies is vibrating in and out of existance. Sound is a waveform that is continous, almost infinite. You can imagine how sound could be a very powerful force compared to the spacious matter that we are. Shrink yourself down as a proton, and surf the sound wave dude.
Ok, so with a better understanding of what we have here. Lets think about the last time you danced. Was it a slow dance with a lover? Were you crip walkin? The macerena? Or was it alone in your room in front of a mirror? why were you dancing? Because you were at a wedding and everyone else looked like they were having fun so you joined? Or maybe it was because your mom signed you up for ballet lessons. But most likely you were drunk as fuck at the bar, and your jam came on. What was the song? Poor some sugar on me? Drop it like its hot? maybe it was piano man and everyone in the bar was swaying back and forth, slurring but never missing a word of the entire song as loud as they can. The point is, is that at some moment of that experience, you decided (sometimes unvoluntarily) to "feel" the music. or what i like to call being the music. When your dancing, your not thinking about where the next movement of your body is going to go, it just happens. Its actually quite a phenomena. Think about it, you are predicting the next beat to the music by placing that elbow on the floor. where ever it ends up, it somehow impresses yourself and maybe even people. How raw can you get? Do how much booze do you need? what kinda of drug must you be on? why do we even need to be fucked up to do it? I will tell you why. It's because lets face it people have a hard time being themselves, especially around strangers. I admit I fall victom to this often. But at the same time, I think (and i know this sounds full of myself) that only certain people deserve to see me "raw". Close friends, and other strangers that are noodling. concerts. shows. festivals.
Speaking of live music. Lets bring back all that crap about matter, sound, bill nyle style. Mass amounts of sound waves, physical movement, all scattered all over the place. Example of how powerful music can be, see Limb Bizkit's Breakstuff from woodstock that caused a riot. (warning fucked up material.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywuYC0n5cNg&feature=related . Notice the crowd, especially around 3:00 minutes into the video. Thats a lot of people. and unforunately they're angry. Pro's of this video: The government realizes that this is what they are up against. So fuck off. This is not my solution, rather its the total opposite.
Part II coming soon.

Music is life. Last time I danced was yesterday at work with an 11 month old girl to Blackalicious, Justice, Braille, and Bob Dylan "Sara". I got down and sweaty, no joke. I even was doing breakdancing moves on the floor, like the turtle. I don't even know how to breakdance.
let's be music this weekend. I wanna groove.
